The Central Luzon Conference (CLC) of Seventh-day Adventists (SDA) shares the worldwide problem of members leaving the church. For the period of four years from 1990 to 1993, whiIe adding 17,426 members to the fellowship of the church, the CLC dropped 6,411 members. This drop represents a loss of 36.8 percent from CLC' s membership. The leaders of the CLC believe that a large number of young people are represented in this loss. (Introduction)
