The purpose of the study was to develop a marketing program for North Sumatra College (NSC) to improve its services to present and potential students. This study was done on an institution including both the college and high school of North Sumatra College (NSC). The major purpose was to develop a data base on which to build a marketing program for NSC. High school students outside NSC, high school students inside NSC and college students, teachers and administrator responded to a written tool. A total of 277 students, teachers and administrators participated in the survey. Respondents give their perceptions about the services of the institution. As a result of this study, the following recommendations were made to NSC for improvements in services: 1. The cafeteria food should be revised as soon as possible. 2. Bathrooms in both dormitories (boys and girls) should be repaired as soon as possible. 3. At least five computers should be purchased each year in the next three years. 4. The number of books in the library should be major concern to administrators. 5. NSC should evaluate the qualification of teachers at least once year. 6. Menu for NSC cafeteria should be prepared one month at a time. 7. The accreditation of NSC should be explained to students and parents at the beginning of each semester. 8. The college bulletin should have complete information about NSC.
